In Peabody, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Massachusetts, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Peabody is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Peabody is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great place to buy an Ariens snowblower from without the βset up feeβ that other places are charging.

I've dealt with them before for packaged items and all went well. Last week my landscaper got 6 yards of Aged Pine Mulch. The morning and the days before the mulch was put down I spent hours pulling out small weeds. We have fairly large beds with hundreds of plants, bulbs, perennials, and spent many tens of thousands of dollars over the last 5 years. Sprinklers, irrigation, extra watering during hot or dry periods. The plants were going gangbusters and absolutely overflowing. Within 12 hours of mulching scores of them were burned, curled up, brown or yellow or dead. It was absolutely decimated. I contacted Northeast 3 times hoping they could suggest what to do to stop the damage. I got no response. If you are looking for mulch I would go somewhere else. I certainly would never take that risk again. This appears to be a textbook case of sour mulch from improper storage and handling. I'm hoping most of these plants rebound next year or it will cost me many thousands to replace. It even turned my lawn yellow along the edge of the beds.

Review: βββββ I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service at this store. I called with a simple question, but the manager was extremely rude and ended the call abruptly without helping me. I expected better from a business that relies on customer relationships. I wonβt be returning, and I do not recommend this place to others based on how poorly I was treated.

Canβt say enough good things about this place. The people are so kind. We did a patio all on our own and only had to go here to get the final result. They helped us with everything and made it super easy

This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Be careful, Do Not Buy from these guys. Let me share my experience with you first. I ordered 40 yards of this so called super loam. The delivery was OK, however right after the truck left, I noticed the loam is not any close to what you see here or claimed on this website. This super loam was actually full of inorganic materials like plastics, glasses, clay and rubber pieces! I also found lots of large sticks and stones which makes this loam completely useless for me. The customer service is even worse as they donβt return your calls nor respond to your emails! I will file against them but be careful about what you deal with.
